![]() ![]() ![]() I was in the middle of changing my son's #2 diaper and he can see that, but continues to state rudely we have to leave. He asks very rudely what we're doing and my husband says what we were told. Well, a big white guy comes knocking on the door like he's the police, scaring my kids. So just stay until someone else says something. He said he was going to ask someone inside about it, but when he returned, he said he couldn't find anyone to ask. Well a young guy in an older Hyundai Santa Fe comes and nicely tells us we may have to move. Well we're like the same thing in our RV. Then we park along the strip in the front of the park thinking it was just for a resting area for trucks and such. The photo packages unfortunately don't offer real frames like at Chicago and St Louis, just paper/cardboard but it's still a nice frame anyways. I'd get the $20 waterproof phone case over the cheaper one, as mine lasted all 4 days, whereas my daughter's did not. The park's souvenirs are awesome and offer a ton of choices. The waterpark was short staffed so the big red ride was closed the one day we didn't go, and the lazy river was closed all season so far. They looked like they were frequently neglected throughout the day. Then the next day, another man was recording while we were all on the ride, but he did get the boot. I didn't see any security guards coming to escort him out, which is what's supposed to happen. Go Pros that are fully strapped around your body aren't allowed, but he took a loose cell phone on and blatantly recorded, and the ride still continued putting all the others riders' lives in danger, plus everyone standing next to the ride. I didn't appreciate seeing a man recording with his cell phone in the front row on Boomerang right before my daughter's turn to ride, and all that gets done is he got talked to. We enjoyed many of the rides, which some were like at the other SF parks but different names. And some of the employees were awesome like the girls at the photo booths, the staff working the guess your age/weight, the employees on Viper, and the guy who took care of my pass at the main gate. Now the pizza was way better than at the one in Missouri. We did get better burgers in the main park. The burritos and walking tacos were always good though. The pizzas my kids got were always burnt. Both were hard and dry in several spots, and the fries that came with both were burnt and bland. A burger I got in Hurricane Harbor was gross too. Ok, so why send someone all the way back there when they really don't do it there anyways?! More of the employees had attitudes than those who didn't, and the grilled chicken sandwich I got at the waterpark was awful. Once we got there, we were informed we should've stayed up front to get our pass. They were nice enough to do it there for 2 days but then the 3rd day, we headed back to membership services on our own. Then we're told we have to go to the membership services midways inside the park to get our ADA pass. The guy was only able to do it because my son probably won't be coming with us anymore, so he switched our cards. Nobody should have to drive several states over while on vacay to get a replacement for something that's supposed to be part of our membership anyways. Then when we get in, I'm told I can't get a replacement season pass from anywhere but Chicago where I bought it. But the next day, RVs are parked along the edge of the main lot so I was pretty upset. And including ours, there stayed like a total of 2 or 3 campers in that lot so it was completely unnecessary. Our car got scratched by our trailer from having to turn so tight to not hit any cones or cans.just to move back like 5 or 10 ft. It's even harder to try to back up too far when the ground is kinda uneven and we can't see because our car is blocking our backup camera. So we had to pull out and try to turn around which was hard again due to the way they lined the lot, and having a jacknife trailer. Then when we pull in and park, we're told by a security guard driving around in a Tahoe or Suburban to move back "in case it gets packed" (with other RVs-I mean really we've been to many many different parks from Legoland to King's Island to Cedar Point to Michigan's Adventure to Busch Gardens and they have never had that many RVs). First we were told we had to park off in the unpaved lot which was fine if that's what they had, but they had so many cones and trash cans lined up in weird spots, it made it awkward trying to maneuver in because it's right there on e you get your pass scanned. ![]()
